Seeing a marlin do a tail dance as it skips across the water trying to shed the hook can be one of life's most exhilarating moments, especially if you have the rod in your hands and you are in the fighting chair.

We are often asked if we can guarantee a catch.  While we would love to say yes and put every angler into the fighting chair with fish like these,   we can't guarantee a catch.  We will make every effort to raise a fish, while providing a fun, safe and enjoyable day on the water.  We can assure you, however,  if you don't go fishing, you won't catch anything. . . !

We offer 1/2, 3/4 and full day charters.  All fishing equipment is provided and a fishing license IS NOT required.  We use Penn International two-speed reels and troll with surface lures most of the time.   We prefer to tag/release billfish and are happy to fillet any catch under 50# for your consumption.  If a billfish is boated, it belongs to the boat and crew.  However, we are happy to arrange for a  mount of your trophy catch for you.

The Kona Coast is well known for its fantastic climate, generally calm waters, and World Class Big Game Fishing.  Kona waters produce record  Blue, Black and Stripped Marlin as well as a variety of other game fish.  With guidance from a friendly and experienced Skipper, enjoy the thrill of seeing your catch “light-up” as it attacks the lure then dances on its tail in an attempt to shed the hook. Get set in the fighting chair for an exciting game of tug-of-war.

bulletAt every fine restaurant along the sunny Kona Coast, the special of the day is fresh Ono, A’hi, and Ma’hi Ma’hi.  these fish are abundant here and are excellent game fish.  Imagine being in the boat and having all four lines hit at the same time as you work your way through a school of Ono while fishing “Ono Lane.”   Are  you game?

For billfish caught and healthy at leader, we practice catch/tag and release.  For fish that are severely injured, or die during the fight, we will boat and take to the weigh station.  After the photos are taken, however, the catch goes to market with the sale proceeds going to the boat.  For other species under 50 pounds, Mahimahi,  Ahi or Ono, you may keep the fish or share it with the crew, your choice.
